Krista & Jeremy | Kennewick First Methodist | Kennewick, WA

Krista & Jeremy are a genuinely sweet match. We are always excited to shoot photos for those serving in our military. (In fact, we provides discount for active military personnel.) They held to the tradition of not seeing each other prior to the ceremony — at least half-way. Jeremy, in his military attire posed blind-folded next to Krista for few special photos.

Her princess fairytale dream came true as they said their vows at the Kennewick First Methodist church. They exited the ceremony through the traditional gauntlet of saber-wielding marines. Her hospitable parents then hosted their guests at their home in Kennewick for the reception. We wish this happy couple all the best!

Andrea & Justin's Engagement | Zintel Canyon | Kennewick, WA

If you want to know how to handle an engagement shoot, talk with Andrea & Justin: they were relaxed, comfortable, and had natural smiles. We took them to Zintel Canyon in Kennewick, and to Chiawana Park Pasco, WA. Both proved to be excellent settings to capture the fall colors. And these huge Seahawk fans are getting their wish so far as the Seahawks have home field advantage leading up to the 2014 Super Bowl!

We're excited to be shooting their wedding on June 21st of 2014!

Tara & Nick | Wedding Photos | Kennewick First Methodist | Red Lion Hotel | Kennewick, WA

Tara and Nick are a genuinely sweet couple. Tara began the day getting ready at her parents' beautiful home on the Canyon Lakes golf course. After a short send-off ceremony with her family, everyone headed to Kennewick First Methodist for their beautiful ceremony. Sticking with tradition, Nick first saw Tara as she walked down the aisle. The couple surprised everyone with a belly dancer at the reception, held at the Pasco Red Lion. The crowd loved it! The dancing was unique and some of the most enjoyable we'd seen.

We're so glad they chose us to capture their day!

Courtney & Troy's Wedding Trailer | Tri-Cities, WA

Paddle boarding? Go-karts? Talk about a fun couple! We got to film them on Lake Chelan hanging out, throwing footballs, and getting on the water. And of course they had a wedding. Faith Assembly in Pasco provided plenty of room to work with (that church is huge!). Then off via limo to Chiawana Park where we got in some aerial shots of the bridal party. Then off to Three Rivers Convention Center in Kennewick, where they always do a great job with events; weddings are no exception.

Courtney & Troy are truly a gracious couple. You don't have to spend much time with them to know that they are giving, loving people. We're so thankful to have shot their wedding!

Kevyn & Eddie | Wedding Photos | St Joe's, Kennewick, WA | Terra Blanca, Benton City

The day began with a bit of stress — At St. Joe's in Kennewick, the wedding before Kevyn & Eddie's looked like it was running an hour late! But the priests did well to move things along, and everything else went according to plan. The extra time provided us more photo opportunities, so we didn't complain. Terra Blanca, as always, provided a multitude of different looks for photos. The Benton City vineyard has stunning views and somehow manages to avoid the worst of the Tri-City winds. Kevyn & Eddie had a gorgeous getaway car, and gave us loads to work with at sunset. So fun!

Amaris & Alex | Engagement Photos | Zintel Canyon Park, Kennewick, WA

What a beautiful afternoon engagement session in Zintel Canyon! This often-overlooked Kennewick park holds many looks in a small area — perfect for engagement sessions. Amaris & Alex gave us plenty to work with, too — far too much to show here. Alex is a baseball stud; check out their portfolio page to see more. We're stoked to be shooting photos and video for their wedding!

Dana & Jay's Wedding Trailer | Kennewick First Methodist and Bookwalter Winery

We knew Dana & Jay would be a fun couple to film after they suggested we film them rock climbing for their engagement footage! Cold and windy weather didn't deter their adventurous spirits, and we got some fantastic footage using our helicopter — and helmet cameras. Dana & Jay had us all day, which meant we could capture them getting ready in a relaxed atmosphere. The girls sipped Starbucks while dressing in style at Cadwell Laboratories. Jay and his groomsmen got ready at a beautiful house overlooking the Tri-Cities.

The wedding at Kennewick First Methodist went flawlessly. Dana had chosen perfect music for them — including Chariots of Fire during the candle lighting ceremony (wherein Jay showed off his inner pyro).

But the best part of all was the reception. The heartfelt speeches showed just how loved this couple is. And the unreserved, joyous dancing by so many people — young and old — properly reflected Jay & Dana's carefree spirits. And their glow stick exit was perfect for them!

But did we ever get lucky — it snowed! (Those of you from the Tri-Cities know how rare it is.) We got our first ever dancing-in-the-snow footage with some soft overhead light provided by the Bookwalter Winery entrance. It was stunning.

Brooke & Matt's Wedding Movie & Photos | Kennewick First Methodist & Anthony's Banquet Center

Brooke & Matt had been dating for ages, but what makes them so compelling is that they act like they just started dating! They regularly make each other laugh! Yet it was clear from their sweet ceremony at Kennewick First Methodist that they're serious about their commitment to each other. They threw a delightful party at Anthony's Banquet Center — filled with sentimental speeches, loads of dancing, and evening lighting to die for. We took them out along the river near sunset to take advantage of the insane reds and purples in the clouds. Despite the menacing prospect of rain throughout the day, we ended up with lucky, perfect timing on everything!

We found a couple opportunities to get helicopter footage at their wedding. Check it out in the movie below!

Kayla & Tony | Kennewick Wedding | Word Of Faith & Shilo Inn

This adorable couple got married on a memorable day — 11/11/11. (They'll have no trouble remembering their anniversary in the future!) Kayla and all the girls began getting ready at the new house she and Tony were moving into (the day before!), then moved on to Word of Faith Center. It was a whirlwind of action with all of the moms, bridesmaids, sisters, and flower-girls scrambling about getting ready. Kayla was such a beautiful bride! One of our favorite parts about winter weddings is when they wear gorgeous fur wraps. It is always encouraging to see such a show of support — they had one of the biggest bridal parties we've seen — seven on each side! They chose not too see each other before the ceremony, so the first time he saw her was as she walked down the aisle. It was a very sweet ceremony, complete with a slideshow of the couple playing while they took communion. They had some adorable little flower girls and ring bearer, who almost made it all the way up without help. :) After the ceremony, we got to take them around for portraits at the church and along the river behind the Shilo Inn in Richland. Both had some great opportunities for us and some beautiful fall colors still clinging to the trees. Unfortunately we got cut a bit short by rain but it held out long enough to get most of the family. At the Shilo Inn they had a big reception — it was a great day for a lot of family and friends on both sides to come together, dance, and have fun. Like a lot of couples this year, they had cupcakes for the guests. But their cupcakes were assembled as bouquets and put together so well that it took us awhile to realize that they were fact dessert, not flowers! It was a beautiful and memorable day and we wish Kayla and Tony the best!

Megan & Tracy | Kennewick Wedding | Lions Gate Wedding Chapel

We shot Megan and Tracy's engagement photos a couple years ago, so it was great to capture their wedding again even after so long. They got married on an absolutely beautiful October day — the weather couldn't have been more perfect. Their ceremony and reception were at LionsGate Wedding Chapel in Kennewick. This was the first time we had a wedding there; it is a charming little chapel with a unique vintage feel, complete with a suit of armor in the corner! For portraits, they rented one of the vintage limos from Four Star Limos, and we had a lot of fun with it. Megan chose a unique theme for her wedding and did an amazing job incorporating all of the details. The theme was locks and keys, she had antique keys everywhere in the decorations, on the tables and hanging from the centerpieces. The couple was married by Stacy from Uniquely I Do, who did an great job keeping it simple while personalizing it for them. During the ceremony, they inserted letters written to each other into a locked box, to be opened and read on their first anniversary. Her invitations were old books, hollowed out and filled with information about the wedding. And instead of a signing book, they had quilt pieces for the guests to sign, making for a beautiful and useful keepsake.

The chapel and reception hall were both beautiful — the reception hall was lit up with countless lights. While the bouquet usually goes to a single girl, they gave it to a married woman (based on who had been married the longest) — pretty sweet idea. Everyone had a wonderful time and when the night finally wore down we were more than a little jealous as they headed off to Hawaii. They are such a cute, fun couple with loads of personality. We had a great time shooting their wedding!
